Yami KawaiiPastel Goth (not to be confused with Gurokawa or Nu-Goth) is a fashion trend that began on VK.com in early 2010 and quickly migrated to Tumblr. It's the consequence of fusing gothic or grunge components with the charming pastel features of the kawaii aesthetic, as well as a hint of boho elegance. It also gained popularity briefly in Japan, owing to DJ Juria Nakagawa, whose style has always been heavily inspired by Tumblr trends.
