The Reddcoats' self-titled first album was released in 2021. Gregg and Matt Bissonette play drums and bass, respectively, with Andy Timmons on guitar, Wally Minko on keyboards, and Mike Medina on percussion. Additionally, The Red Locusts released their first album in 2021. Again, Gregg on drums and Matt on bass are joined by Rick Springfield on guitar and vocals.
He was scheduled to perform on the Electric Light Orchestra's Zoom Tour Live in 2001, with his brother Matt on bass. After one broadcast performance at CBS Television City on PBS, the tour was canceled. Gregg began playing double drums with Ringo Starr in his band Ringo and The Roundheads in 2003. Matt Bissonette, his brother, also played bass in this band. Since then, Gregg has been a member of Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. (2008-present)

On August 13th, 1966, when the Beatles performed in Detroit's Olympia Stadium, a seven-year-old wannabe drummer called Gregg Bissonette sat high in the nosebleeds, raptly soaking up every second of the event. âI spent the whole night concentrating on Ringo,â he explains. âHe was the glue that held the entire thing together. It was a pivotal point in my life. I recall praying to God, 'Someday, I wish I could play with Ringo.' His request was realized 37 years later, when Ringo asked him to perform a few of promotional shows in support of his 2003 album,
