Julia Brendler (born 26 February 1975 in Schwedt) is a German actress.
She began acting at the age of 14 after being born on 26 February 1975 in Schwedt (East Germany, now Brandebourg in Germany). The Hesse received the film prize for the first role in Helmut Dzuibas's "l'Amour Interdit." Then came Dagmar Hirtz's Dutch drama "Moon Dance" and Rainer Matsutani's horror thriller "Uniquely through the lens of my body." She appeared with Johannes Brandtrup in Max Honert's "Hamlet" production the following year. The subsequent attempt to appear in an English-language film, "Dans les profondeurs," was more or less successful. Brandler now has a role in German cinema and television.
Although the actress can point to an impressive resume and brings screen presence to roles in "Der Fahnder" (1994–1998), "Das Traumschiff - Bermuda" (2001), "Edel & Starck" (2003), "Der Letzte Zeuge" (2003), "Grostadtrevier" (2005), and "Im Namen des Gesetzes" (2008), she foregoes self-directed appearances on the red carpet. If she succeeds in captivating the audience, it will be due to her excellent and awe-inspiring performance. In 2009, twenty years after her divorce, the seasoned actress and mother of two children reprises her role as a 13-time (Pflege-)Mutter in the comedy "Der Typ, 13 Kinder & ich." That the story of Esther Ohling, her little derelict house, and the whole children's saga does not dissolve into meaninglessness is due in large part to Julia Brendler, her enthralling game, and her remarkable naturalness.
