I don't do anything with my tank because it's only soft corals, but I did test my nitrate and phosphate levels. My toadstool coral isn't opening. The leather is most likely adapting to your tank. They go into a short-term latent state in which they don't open up and extend polyps. Unless your parameters are significantly amiss or your tank temperature is off, it usually lasts two weeks at most.
